Please consider donating copies of the following novels to my fifth grade classroom at Moffett, Elementary in Lennox, CA:
Hatchet
Sign of the Beaver
Fighting Ground
By the Great Horn Spoon
Island of the Blue Dolphins
Each year, I read these novels with my students but most of my students cannot afford to purchase their own copies. We have to share the copies I have and, unfortunately, the students cannot take the novel home with them. I serve 80% English language learners and 95% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. In other words, there is academic and socioeconomic need in my school.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
